瑞华公寓改造

Savoye Apartment

之外建筑于2022年设计改造了瑞华公寓中的一套145平米的住宅。公寓建筑有将近100年的历史，前业主是从建国后就住在公寓中的一家人，保留了公寓最初的空间布置，而新业主是年轻独立女性，青睐现代艺术，居住理念不拘泥于传统。我们想把原来紧凑不通透的空间布置和装饰艺术派（Art Deco）的室内装饰风格，改变成以通透自由的空间形式和简洁利落的线条为主的现代风格，同时增加室内空间的弧形元素，作为对公寓外立面Art Deco装饰风的回应。
我们希望给业主一个自由的生活空间，一个艺术展廊式的家，同时室内外设计语言上的对比和交融，也展现了现代与百年前空间设计共存的可能性。

The Savoye Apartment building boasts a history of nearly 100 years. The previous owners—a family that had lived there since the founding of the People’s Republic of China—preserved the original layout of the apartment. In contrast, the new owner is a young, independent lady with a strong appreciation for modern art and a living philosophy that transcends tradition.

Our goal was to transform the originally compact and enclosed layout, along with its Art Deco interior style, into a modern aesthetic defined by open, free-flowing spaces and clean, sharp lines. At the same time, curved elements were introduced into the interior as a subtle homage to the Art Deco style of the building’s exterior.
